Within the Common Room, as an aspect of the “congenial place” is a common room table upon which are written the names of those open to conversation about experimenting with forms of writing, relations between text and image, book-objects invested with imagination and design thought, spaces and architectures of reading and the kinds of openings for attention that books, writing and reading create.  The table presents the names of those with works in the Common Room.  However, it is also the place where those who wish to place works in the Common Room can register their interest.
